Grounded on the Word of God, as recorded in the Holy Bible, and the working of the Holy Spirit, our desire at New Hope Church is to be sensitive to our diverse community while obeying the full council of the Spirit’s clear leading, and allowing Him freedom to move in our midst.

Pillars of Our Community

A Haven to Connect with GOD

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”  (Psalm 91:1-2)

We are committed to preparing a habitation for the presence of God. We do not come to any service that we are not in full expectation to encounter the True and Living God through honoring and glorifying Him in worship.

Obedience to His Word

And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’  “Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them…”  (Deut. 13:13-16)

We are committed to obeying, practicing and proclaiming the word of God. We endeavour to create avenues for every person to be connected to their God-given assignment in the local body. We make every effort to provide each person with an environment in which their gifts and talents can flourish and grow.

Prayer in All Things

“…pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.  Do not quench the Spirit.  Do not despise prophecies.  Test all things; hold fast what is good.  Abstain from every form of evil.  Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thess. 5:17-23)

We believe we have a mandate to be missionaries unto the world.

Empowerment to Release Excellence and Fulfill Purpose

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds.  Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. ”   (Hebrews 10:23-25)

We believe at NHC that we steward all that God has given us. With Godly judgment, we dedicate our lives to steward our time and resources to make every opportunity available to develop others and see the Kingdom of God advanced.
